Coach Hill Real Estate Listings and Information

Map of Coach HillWith a population of 3,300 and the 69th street C-Train station that allows its’ residents to wander to the far corners of the greater Calgary area freely, the community of Coach Hill is a beautiful neighborhood located in the far west of the city. Originally established in 1979, Coach Hill offers amazing views of the city from its’ elevated top, easy access to the downtown’s amenities through the Bow Trail, and a number of community events throughout the year including the popular Stampede Breakfast.

Olympic Heights elementary school, Vincent Massey junior high school, and Ernest Manning senior public high school all serve the public school students of Coach Hill remarkably well. Catholic school students are also well taken with educational facilities such as the John Costello elementary, St. Monica junior high, and Bishop Carroll senior high school all being accessible in communities neighbouring Coach Hill.

A mix of single detached dwellings, townhouses, apartments, and other residential homes, Coach Hill procured its’ name because of its’ location along the Old Banff Coach Road, which used to be used by stage coach travelers on their way to Banff.

The community is rife with poetic nature scenes and elegant views including those contained within the Edworthy Park/Bow River area.

Other amenities include Strathcona square, the Aspen Landing shopping centre, the Westbrook shopping centre – ALL easy to access nearby and ALL places where a Coach Hill resident’s shopping needs can be met.

With a C-Train station AND multiple Calgary transit stops stationed along Coach Hill road, there are plenty of options in transportation to make it out to anywhere in the city.

What Coach Hill brings to its’ residence is the privacy that goes along with a community that has a little more open space, a little more nature, and a little more of an organic beauty within it. While still offering quick and easy access to downtown Calgary, Coach Hill not quite on the outskirts but far enough for a little piece, a little quiet, and for a beautiful property that is very likely to increase in value as the city continues to develop.
