Diamond Cove is a small, affluent estate community situated in southeast Calgary, west of the Bow River. It was carved from the community of Queensland in the early 1990’s and is comprised mainly of spacious and stylish single family homes. This desirable community has a separate entrance that is accessed by Bow Bottom Trail. Quick commuting to downtown and the Calgary International Airport is via Deerfoot Trail. Transit services to Diamond Cove are excellent with LRT Stations in close proximity at Anderson Rd, Canyon Meadows and Fish Creek, all with plenty of parking.

Like many other southeast Calgary communities, residents of Diamond Cove enjoy the fabulous recreation opportunities available at nearby Fish Creek Provincial Park, one of the largest year round urban parks in North America. The park has an abundance of walking and bicycle trails that connect to Calgary’s extensive trail system and is home to a large variety of wildlife. The Bow River pathway system can be accessed via a pedestrian bridge near Diamond Cove.  For golf lovers, there are public courses in close proximity including Maple Ridge, and Eaglequest Golf in Douglasdale, just across the Bow River.

There is no shortage of shops and services for residents of Diamond Cove. The Deer Valley Shopping Centre is convenient in nearby Deer Ridge. Southcentre Mall is minutes away on Anderson Rd at Macleod Trail, and the upscale Avenida Mall is just north of Fish Creek.  There is also Queensland Landing, south on Queensland Drive at Canyon Meadows Drive. Nearby hospitals include the Rockyview General Hospital on 14th St. S.W. and the new South Health Campus on Front St. S.E. The Deer Valley Walk- in Medical Clinic is located on Canyon Meadows Dr. and Bow Bottom Trail S.E.

Diamond Cove families with school age children have a variety of options from the elementary level to senior high in the public, Catholic and French immersion systems.  The community is served by Haultain Memorial and Queensland Downs for elementary students. The Diamond Cove community is administered by the Queensland Community Association. There is a community hall as well as tennis courts, an outdoor skating rink and a number of sports fields.
