It is bordered by Southland Drive to the north, Anderson Road to the south, Macleod Trail to the west and the community of Maple Ridge to the east. Established in the 1960’s, Willow Park is a tranquil, family oriented mixed neighborhood that features boulevards lined with mature trees, plus an abundance of parks and green space. The community was developed around the Willow Park Golf & Country Club, one of the city’s leading private golf facilities – the golf course intersects the community from east to west. Willow Park has a population of 5,300 (2011) and is a combination of residential, commercial and recreational land uses. The majority of homes are single detached and average in price around $559,000. Willow Park Estates properties surround the golf course and are generally priced in excess of $1million.
Amenities are plentiful for Willow Park residents with excellent shopping facilities located right in the community at the Willow Park Shopping Village. Southcentre Mall is the largest shopping centre in the area and is just minutes away on Anderson Rd, while Macleod Trail offers a huge variety of “big box” stores and other retail outlets, restaurants, and theatre complexes. Willow Park commuters have the convenience of LRT stations at Anderson Rd and Southland Drive, as well as Macleod Trail for an easy drive to downtown Calgary.

Alderman Junior High, Fairview (Fr.) St. Bonaventure Junior High and Ecole St. Matthew (Fr.). Designated senior high schools include Lord Beaverbrook Dr. E.P. Scarlett (Fr.) and Bishop Grandin.
